KUROS gives free pepper spray and training to at-risk women in developing countries as a proactive self-defense option against assaults and gender based violence.
The United Nations estimates that up to 70% of women around the world experience violence during their lifetime. Potentially even more in developing nations where there are not accurately recorded statistics because crimes like assault and rape go unreported.
KUROS believes that every woman has a right to defend herself from such attacks; but more than that, we have seen that giving a woman the ability to defend herself can not only save her life, but it can have huge impacts on her life outlook, confidence, and mobility.
